Blogging and Google Adsense is one of the most trusted passive income streams
By the time your reading this, I hope you have done your part in Road Map 1 and applied for Paypal and that Unionbank eON card. Most credit cards would work with Paypal. Citibank Visa does. But in the Philippines, it is the UBP eON Visa Electron that works without a hitch. I also assume you already have those email addresses and phone numbers I required. Good. Then let’s get going.
Roadmap 2 is about a temporary blog and joining Google Adsense. Just intertwining these two could make you some money. Cents… dimes… dollars… yes yes, like our tagline above “Every F**king cent counts”. Adsense requires its members to have a website. (see link)
They require your own domain or web page were you can edit the HTML and add the adsense tracking code. What I did was to get my own hosting service and domain name. You can do that too here at HostGator. There are other hosting service offered at a much lower cost but they have too many limits and virtually no customer support. HostGator is virtually the best hosting service in the planet. Domain name is free with HostGator.
A blog on a subdomain would also do since you have complete control of the blog. You can get one at Kabaliwan.com for free. Account creation is instant. Once you sign up, your blog is immediately online and ready for editing. For example: You now have a blog at kabaliwan e.g. http://yourblog.kabaliwan.com/blogcamp, this will be the domain you will use in signing up in Adsense.
So it boils down to two options.
Option 1:
- Get a domain and a hosting service
- Set up a simple static html for starters
- Apply for Adsense here. (Join Adsense)
Option 2:
- Get a free blog at Kabaliwan.com (Get One Here)
- Enter few posts
- Sign up you Kabaliwan blog url to Adsense

How does Google Adsense generate money for you? Very simple… you help them advertise and they share a percentage with you. Look around this post and notice that block of links before the article and that column of links on the right side… try clicking on them. Try it on different links. You will be taken to the page of the advertiser. Nope… you don’t need to do anything. By clicking on the links you have earned me a few cents… (every f**king cent counts) because I have helped Google Adsense bring you one of its clients advertisement. Get it? Good. Good.
By joining Google Adsense you bind yourself with very strict contact that you have no control of. They can kick you out of the program without any reason. Take time to read the Google Adsense Policy and Term and Conditions. You are not allowed to click your own adsense links, no pornography,… Once they kick you out, their’s no chance of joining the program again. Ever.
Roadmap 2 is very important. In the future, it will be your passive income hub linking all your mini-schemes. Although you can continue with the other Roadmaps, this one will be far more reaching.
